The Swindon Tuition was born in 2010. The centre offers private tuition for those that may be struggling at school, those needing to achieve a particular grade from an upcoming exam, or those simply wanting to excel in Maths, English or Science.
We teach pupils from the age of 5 (phonics, basic numeracy, Reading, Spelling, Comprehension and Grammar), 11+ preparation (Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning alongside English and Maths), all the way up to GCSE exams and we also offer tuition for some A-Level courses.
At the Swindon Tuition Centre we believe that learning is all about confidence, and we work tirelessly to ensure that we instil that confidence in every student that comes through our door.
Safeguarding is protecting children from maltreatment; preventing impairment of their health or development; ensuring that they grow up in circumstances consistent with the provision of safe and effective care; and taking action to enable all children and young people to have the best life chances and to enter adulthood successfully.
At Swindon Tuition Centre safeguarding and student welfare is of paramount importance and to that end we will always put the physical and mental well-being of students first. This sometimes requires us to share information with other agencies such as police or medical professionals.
Where we can, our intention is always to consult and work with parents or carers to achieve the best outcome for the student. Sometimes circumstances exist that do not allow for that consultation and the school has to take independent action in order to ensure a young person is safeguarded.
