Welcome to our Forest School Programme
at Swindon Tuition Centre
Dear Parent/Guardian,
Thank you for choosing Swindon Tuition Centre! Our mission and ethos is to encourage the development of children’s emotional and physical development through outdoor play, activities and exploration in a woodland environment.
At Dream Wild Forest School, we will be helping the children to connect with and learn through their local environment. The philosophy of Forest School is to encourage and inspire individuals of any age through positive experiences and participation in engaging and motivating achievable tasks.
When choosing Swindon Tuition Centre as your learning provider, the parent/carer is agreeing to our Terms & Conditions.

Terms & Conditions

The Dream Wild Holiday Club’s core hours run from 8am - 6pm (whole day) 9am –3.00pm (school hours) during school holidays. There are optional extras available to book at an additional cost such as Breakfast and Afternoon snack at an additional £1 per day.

Payment for Dream Wild Holiday Club will be taken before the school holiday commences.

Parents may use Childcare vouchers and will require Swindon Tuition Centre's Ofsted Number to do so.

Any additional sessions can be requested and will be charged for in addition.

If a participant cannot attend a session, parent/carers must inform Swindon Tuition Centre via text using 07486 854621 or email at admin@swindontuitioncentre.co.uk, at least 48 hours before the session is due to take place.

We can offer a re-arrangement of ad-hoc sessions if at least one week’s notice is given.

If the parent/carer contacts Swindon Tuition Centre to cancel the session less than one week before it is due to take place, they will be charged and no re-arrangement session will be offered.

If a participant cannot attend their session, regardless of circumstance, payment will still be taken for the missed session.

On the rare occasion that Swindon tuition Centre will need to cancel a Forest School Holiday Club Day or After-school session, for example due to adverse weather conditions, a full refund will be given for the time cancelled.

Parents/ carers may be offered Dream Big Creative Sessions held at one of our Swindon Tuition Centres as an alternative option. First refusal will be given to parents/carers who selected ‘childcare for working purposes’ on their registration form. At some point in the near future, the use of the indoor Fungi Room will be made available as an alternative indoor location at the Forest School site. Parents and carers will be informed as soon as this is up and running.

Children should be collected promptly at the end of a session. Where a parent is late in collecting a child, The Dream Wild Holiday Club reserves the right to charge a late fee, £5.00 for every 15 minutes late.

All items of personal property are brought onto the premises entirely at the owner's risk. Swindon Tuition Centre will not be held responsible, nor accept any liability, for any loss or damage to any such items, however caused.

Participants should be aware that when they are attending Forest School with Swindon Tuition Centre they are expected to behave responsibly at all times.

Persistently disruptive behaviour by a child would result in the incidents being reviewed and recorded.

The Dream Wild Holiday Club reserves the right to exclude a child on the grounds of persistently disruptive behaviour where it affects the well-being of others.

The Dream Wild Holiday Club ensures to provide a safe and caring environment free from discrimination, any discriminatory behaviour by children, parents or staff will be challenged and not tolerated.

Any problems which cannot be satisfactorily resolved between parents and staff may be referred to the management in line with the organisation’s Behaviour Policy and/or Complaints procedure.

Swindon Tuition Centre must be informed on the online Registration Form of any medical, safeguarding or other conditions that may be useful to keep the student safe.

All permissions and consent must be obtained on the Registration Form before the child attends the Holiday Club.

To avoid communication disruption and to satisfy the non-compete contract that the staff has signed, no exchange of contact information between participant and staff is permitted and legal action may be sought if this is found to have happened.

Cancellation of regular booking: Notice should be given via email to admin@swindontuitioncentre.co.uk with one month’s notice. The final payment will be charged pro-rata for the amount of sessions taken in the last month and your Direct Debit will be cancelled.

All monthly payments are non-refundable.

The Dream Wild Holiday Club holds policy documents that must be adhered to at all times and copies are available upon request.

Parents will receive a copy of the Forest School Policy upon booking confirmation. They must adhere to all procedures outlined in this policy including procedures relating to Health and Safety and Covid precautions.

Staff details and information about activities are available on request.

The Dream Wild Holiday Club will undertake to consult with parents on a regular basis to ensure they are meeting the children’s needs.

All parents of children using the group are requested to be supportive to the Supervisor and the staff within the group.

Children are not allowed to leave the Holiday Club, unless accompanied by their parents or another nominated adult. A password will need to be provided for nominated adults.

Records will be kept containing details about the child, including health, religion and diet information, parent emergency contact details, child protection records if applicable and appropriate signed online consent form. Parents if requested to complete or sign such forms must do so promptly or your child may be refused a place.

Children must bring appropriate clothes as outlined in the Forest School Policy.

All permission granted via the online registration form is current and up-to-date.
