MISSION

To provide dynamic and stimulating learning environments where bespoke tuition packages promote the best outcomes for children and young people in Swindon.

For a world where all children and young people, no matter their background, are given the tools and opportunities to succeed.

VISION

OUR CORE VALUES

Inclusion

When we are fully engaged, we connect with, communicate with, and uplift the lives of our pupils— we support the emotional well-being of our pupils so that they can be ready to learn. We believe that every child has a right to an education and strive to make sure that every pupil in our provision is given opportunities to succeed.

Safeguarding

We work effectively together to safeguard our pupils and deliver a child centred and coordinated approach to safeguarding by ensuring our staff and partners understand that safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility.  We have a good level of child protection knowledge and understand, not only the signs and symptoms of abuse, but the long term-effects of childhood trauma. We offer a mentoring approach to pupils, alongside their tuition so that they are aware we are always there to listen. We Record, Report and Review every safeguarding concern. We strive everyday for best practice.

Equality and Diversity

We embrace diversity and champion equal opportunities for staff and pupils. We always treat each other with respect and dignity and teach pupils to respect and value the diversity around them. We work hard to broaden our students' experience, to prepare them for life and work. We place a strong emphasis on the common fundamental British values such as democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect for those with different faiths and beliefs and for those without faith. We tailor our service to meet the needs of children and young people with special educational needs.

Adaptability and Flexibility

All of our tutor's are picked for their abilities to adapt to the different tutees needs. They do not have a single approach that they use for all tutees since all children and young people are unique. Although we do carrying out a thorough matching process, many of our tutors are able to work with all types of personalities and learning styles. In addition to this, our Alternative Provision tutors understand the importance of being as flexible and adaptable as possible in regards to timetable changes, additional duties and supervising cover.

Teamwork

We are a closely knit team who are fully supportive of one another. We understand that the work we do is often very challenging at times and emotional support is readily available from coworkers and line managers. We understand that our team members all bring different qualities to the workplace and have various strengths. We work in close collaboration together to combine our multiple skills sets and experience and to work towards the organisation’s mission.

Creativity

We believe that pupils will achieve more with a positive attitude towards learning and when they have confidence to be inquisitive in a safe environment. Our curriculum is developed using multiple exam boards as source material to provide the most comprehensive range of teaching possible. We are creative in how we engage our pupils, many who have been out of education for some time. We are also creative in generating new ideas and approaches. We bring the vision, passion and drive to raise standards in all aspects of tuition centre  life.
