THE   ALWAYS RUNNIN'  PROJECT

Educating secondary pupils about the dangers of Criminal Exploitation in the context of County Lines immersively, with the use of Virtual Reality headsets 

OUR MISSION

The Always Runnin' Project was founded with the purpose of delivering high level

educational content in to all pupils with the use of immersive technology (Virtual Reality)

OUR SOLUTION

We offer a 3D animated video – Always Runnin' which tackles the subjects of criminal exploitation of children in the context of county lines. 

The video is designed to be delivered using VR headsets in a classroom environment as part of an hour lesson and embedded within a 6 week scheme of work.

CHILDREN AT RISK

Since 2015 the percentage of children 'in need' aged 10 years or over has increased from 48% to 55%, with the two older age categories reflecting a long term increase. In particular, the proportion of children in need aged 16 or over has increased from 18.2% to 23.2% in the last six years. Mental health & Wellbeing provision in schools.

IMMERSIVE DELIVERY

This project aims to innovate through the combination of multiple innovative technologies and approaches. Whilst this project won’t deliver a patentable end product, the application of technology and collaboration within this project has the potential to shift perspectives and the approach to social education in schools which could have a lasting impact on the UK society.

COLLABORATION

While our director Luke has direct experience working with work with excluded and those children at risk of exclusion. This represents one of the interventions for 'children at risk'. We are aware of the need to collaborate with:

- Youth Offending Teams

- Police Outreach

- Local Educational Authorities

- Safeguarding Teams
